Bridging the gap between athlete mindset and gym signups.

Open in the office →The same case file, inside my interactive office

In shortA gym website built to turn a burst of motivation into a membership, with the join button never more than a glance away.

Situation
Most gym websites inspire visitors and then lose them before they join.
Task
In 2023 I led the web design end to end.
Action
The join button stays in the header all the way down, each class gets its own card and path to sign-up, and the photos show people training, not machines.
Result
Designed a site where the join button is never more than a glance away and every class has its own short path to sign-up, built to get a visitor from landing to membership in under 60 seconds (the design target).

Most gym websites are a gallery of equipment. Visitors get inspired, then leave. Fit Hub wanted a site that sells the change, not the machines, and gets someone from “I should start” to a membership while the feeling lasts. I led the web design end to end.

Stage 2Task: my part

Stage 3Action: the decisions

02Decision 1 · The join button goes where you go

Motivation can peak anywhere on the page, so the Join Now button stays in the header the whole way down. Wherever someone decides, the next step is already on screen.

03Decision 2 · One card per class, one path to sign-up

Gym, Zumba, Yoga and Martial Arts each get their own card and their own reason to join, so visitors find their thing fast, and each one has a short path to sign-up.

04Decision 3 · Look like performance

High-contrast type and photos of people training set the tone in the first second. The promise is the athlete mindset, so the page shows effort, not empty rooms.

05Result

Designed a site where the join button is never more than a glance away and every class (Gym, Zumba, Yoga, Martial Arts) has its own short path to sign-up. Every decision serves one target: under 60 seconds from landing to membership. That’s the design target, not a measured result.
